Kepler’s Third Law of Planetary Motion
The distance between planets was calculated by Copernicus using Kepler’s Third Law of Planetary Motion. According to Kepler’s Law of Motion, the square of the time period of the revolution of a planet around the sun is directly proportional to the cube of the semi-major axis of its orbit.
