Maria Sharapova VS Sachin Tendulkar !!!!
Indian Cricket Fans Enraged by Maria Sharapova’s Tendulkar Ignorance
Indian fans of cricket “God” Sachin Tendulkar are rioting on Twitter, outraged that Russian tennis sensation Maria Sharapova dared to admit that she didn’t know who the golden boy of cricket was.
At a news conference at Wimbledon on Saturday, the tennis star was asked if she knew who Tendulkar–who was at the tennis tournament —was. She said she didn’t.
Soon #whoismariasharapova started trending on Twitter as Tendulkar’s overzealous fans took to social media to defend their master blaster.
One dramatic fan called Sharapova’s ignorance the peak of the dark ages, another helpfully reminded people that Sharapova’s posters are popular in India, making the answer to the hashtag simple for millions of Indian men.
