India plans to launch Mars mission on October 2013
The Mars Orbiter Mission, expected to be launched in mid-October 2013, will carry five experimental payloads with a total weight of 14.49 kg. ISRO’s trusted warhorse rocket PSLV-XL is expected to launch the mission from the spaceport Sriharikota.
