What is JPC
Joint Parliamentary Committee is one type of ad hoc Parliamentary Committees constituted by Indian parliament.Mandated to inquire into a specific subject, a JPC ( Joint Parliamentary Committee) is constituted either through a motion adopted by one House and concurred by the other, or, through communication between the presiding officers of the two Houses. The members are either elected by the Houses or nominated by the presiding officers. As in the case of other parliamentary committees, they are drawn from different groups.

Parliament shuts as 2G tug-of-war continues
New Delhi: Parliament adjourned for the thirteenth straight day on Tuesday as the tug-of-war between the government and the Opposition over a JPC probe into the 2G spectrum case continues.
The 2G SCAM / 2G Spectrum Case :
The Comptroller and Auditor General of India, CAG, has said that 2G spectrum allocation had caused a huge revenue loss to the government .
The scandal over spectrum allocation by the sale of 2G spectrum at a minimal cost and caused damages to the country of India amounting to Rs. 176,000 crore (1 Crore = 10, 000, 000. Estimation in USD $38260 Million)
Remember the average daily earning of 70 % of our country man is below of Rs. 20 /- only and the scam is about Rs. 176,000 crore .(according to the CAG ) .
