The G-20 summit begins in Seoul
World leaders have started the two-day G20 summit in Seoul,Korea
The two-day Seoul Summit was held amid tension among G20 countries over several issues, including trade imbalances and currency policies. There had been even talks of so-called currency war.
The G-20 was proposed by former Canadian Finance Minister Paul Martin (later, Prime Minister) for cooperation and consultation on matters pertaining to the international financial system.
